Recently, I have been having a little difficulty with my depression. There have been some down days as I call them. And with the holidays around, I've been feeling it a lot more lately. My surroundings are not the best for someone who is trying to recover from negative thinking and staying in a positive world. But I'm working my way through it with some Cognitive Thinking exercises that I've learned and staying away from the negative. Depression is something that can take over your life and suffocate you if you're not careful. I spent years inside a shell and finally I'm seeing some form of light. However, there are always going to be setbacks. But what I've learned in therapy is that it isn't the fact that you've had a setback, it's how you handle that setback.
I think of ScaryGood Studios everyday of my life and how I want it to grow into something great. This company is solace. So my setbacks are not going to change that. It will be a bit of a struggle until I can clear my mind once more. But if I stick to what has helped me in the past then I should be able to get through this one just like the others. There is a positive at the end of this tunnel.
